The Sealy Area Historical Society will hold the annual old-fashioned style Spring Fest on April 12, 2025 at the Sealy Historical Park at 211 East Main Street in Sealy, Texas (far East Main). Admission to the Spring Fest is free.
Contestants: All ages are allowed to participate. There will be no age categories. This is the Spring Fest version of America’s Got Talent.
Performances: Each contestant will have three minutes to perform. All types of entertainment are welcome, including the following: dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, comedy routines, magic routines, dramatic readings, poetry, and storytelling. We cannot accommodate acrobatic or gymnastic performances.
Sound: A sound technician will provide amplifiers and microphones. You can submit instrumental music on a USB flash drive to the sound technician on the day of the show.
Stage: The stage is 8’ x 16.’ Please take this into consideration for dance acts and groups of performers. Performers may also perform on the grass in front of the stage.
Cash Prizes: Three cash prizes will be awarded. The first place winner will receive $100. The second place winner will receive $75, and the third place winner will receive $50.
Entry Fee: There is an entry fee of $5.00 for each performance. Individuals and groups of three and less will be charged an entry fee of $5. Groups larger than three will be charged an entry fee of $10. The entry fee is waived for students 18 and under.

Schedule: The Spring Fest Talent Show will begin at noon and end at 3 PM or earlier, depending upon the number of entries. Winners will be announced at 3:30 PM. Judges will be experienced in the areas of music, dance and drama.

Participants will receive an email confirmation of registration and will receive a second email giving their designated performance time. Performers must check in at the stage 30 minutes before their designated performance time.
